A Brighter Future

I was fortunate enough to have had my children be taught by some of the greatest teachers one could ever hope for. From learning through play to kids being able to write on teacher's blogs about homework, it really does give you an idea of just how far we have come. Kids just aren't writing on paper anymore, they are acting out the materials in plays and using power point for their presentations. Some of the teachers I have been privileged enough to know have probably spent every extra penny they have to make sure their classrooms have what our children need. It gives me hope that there are still teachers and administrators out there still willing to find every possible resource for better funding of education. It is this willingness and motivation that will ensure a more educated tomorrow.

This post is a part of the MAT@USC Hope for the holidays event. Did you experience or witness something in 2009 that gave you hope for the future of American education? If so, please see this post for more information on how to share it.
